Why This Gear Works
-
Discreet & lightweight: easy to carry and less intrusive.
-
Stealth & spontaneity: helps capture the “randomness of life,” as he describes.
-
Creative flexibility: Fujifilm’s quality paired with a 35 mm lens gives him sharpness, character, and ease in rapidly changing scenes.
His Advice (in his own words)
After a lot of research… I opted for a Fujifilm camera, and a Prime lens equivalent to 35 mm focal length. … it is compact, lightweight and inconspicuous.
Bottom Line
Hersley gives precedence to mobility, subtlety, and creative responsiveness. His current Fujifilm + 35 mm prime combo perfectly reflects his ethos: capturing split-second human moments with finesse and quiet confidence.
